Das beschauliche Reinsdorf bei Zwickau lockte die Elite von Sachsen und Sachsen Anhalt an die ca. 4km lange Rennstrecke durch den Ort. Auch Florian und Benjamin folgten dem Ruf und machten sich
auf zur Landesmeisterschaft.
Die ersten Runden wurden sehr sanft gefahren. Lediglich eine vier Mann starke Gruppe machte sich auf vor dem Feld zu flüchten.
Diese Gruppe schaffte es einen Abstand von 2:30 Minuten zu bekommen, bis nach der Hälfte des Rennens das Feld reagierte und das Tempo massiv anzog. Diese Attacken konnten beide Postler noch gut
mitgehen und teils auch das Tempo mitbestimmen. Leider ging nur die Verfolgergruppe ohne die Beiden weg. Die Verfolger brauchten nur wenige Runden, um die uneinige Spitze einzuholen und so die
Führung zu übernehmen. Währenddessen begaben sich Florian und Benjamin in die Nachführarbeit – leider ohne weitere Unterstützung des noch großen Feldes. Damit kamen sie dem Spitzenfeld zwar nahe,
aber nicht nah genug, um es zu stellen. 2 Runden vor dem Ziel konzentrierten sich die Görlitzer Athleten dann auf einen soliden Abschluss des Rennens. In dieser turbulenten Phase konnte sich
Florian trotz vieler Attacken nicht vom restlichen Feld abgrenzen. Aber auch andere Fahrer konnten nicht effektiv attackieren. Auf den finalen 500 Metern setzten sich 5 Fahrer ab und Benjamin
nahm noch einmal alle Kraft zusammen und kam an die Gruppe heran. Leider reichte für den Sprint dann aber doch die letzte Energiereserve. Er kam als XX. Sachse ins Ziel. Florian folgte als
XX. im Hauptfeld.
Trotz des ausbleibenden Erfolgs bei dem Rennen konnte sich die Post erneut gut zwischen der sächsischen Elite profilieren und lieferte einen super Bild der gelb-blauen Gefahr aus dem Osten.
